It is when the price of canned food and bottled water starts to go up that we really need to worry...
Why does gold go up..well if you had anything to do with the markets such that you understood it..what would you buy?

It will hit $1000 this time I think and having reached that mental limit will fall back to around $30 an ounce...nah just kidding.

Maybe the Reserve Bank will flood the market with gold again, maybe thats what the yanks want, then hit us with a recession!

But for those fossickers who have the ounces, nows a good time to sell, if it reaches $1000 US i think a lot of prospectors will sell!

When it is in your little bottle it looks so nice ..how could one ever think of selling it...

Bring back the gold standard (invented by Newton by the way)

Can't remember who said it but,
"It is only when the last fish has gone from the river, and the last blade of grass has died, that we will discover that we cannot eat gold"

I saw a guy at the markets in Lismsore (selling gem stones) and every tooth... top bottom back and front...was gold that wasnt your mate was it???

I thought man you must not go to some of the places I have been you would be mugged for sure..

mmm I wonder how much it weighed..mmm jeeze maybe half a pound...well I dont know but it would be considerable..we must have someone here who could present a figure and good math and reasoning for their conclusion.
You would think 2 teeth would be about an ounce... I bet he would tell you he seemed very proud of his display.
