Flame in Narrowband
Hi All,
Eek this is harder than it looks.
This is done using the hubble pallette, SII:Ha:OIII as RGB channels.
Then a fair bit of separate channel enhancement to get it to what I liked. The OIII channel in particular is very weak.
Cheers
Stuart

Ok, unusual looking.
I wonder why the OIII is distributed so strongly around the nebula?
Nice stars.

Hi Jeff,
Yes it is unusual. Not sure what you mean about the OIII though, OIII is mapped to blue, not sure I can see too much of it at all. It's mostly SII (Red) and Ha (Green) on my monitor, which of course I set the colour balance on.
Cheers
Stuart

My most sincere apologies Stuart.
I misread the info.
Where are my glasses?
I assumed green for oxygen.
Sorry

Hi Leon,
Yes, by all means, I don't like it that much either.
I think I'll play around with the colour assignments.
Cheers
