Tuttle 8p tail .... just

I blame tornado33 for this image i was hoping to catch the tail on the comet like his image, well its there but only just, i would have liked to track on the comet but the autoguider would not pick up on its diffuse centre.

rapidly moving through the 15 images i took was interesting though , just like a mini movie watching the comet move.

2 min exposures 300d 12 inch newt

Lovely work, would love to have another go at it, but clear skies around here come about once a month.

I took 12 x 2 minute images through my 8" SCT, and can faintly make out a tail after processing.
The difference between yours, Tornado33's and my images are the fact that you guys used a 12" and 10" dob, whereas i used 8". It makes a hell of a difference seeing the tail and comparing them to different apertures!

If only my local astro clubs 14" SCT had better tracking!

Great work!
Cheers!
