Heres a little patch of nebulosity that turned out suprisingly well, its coordinates are RA 9h 02 22 Dec -48 41 08 should you wish to have a look.

G11 mount
12 inch f5 Newtonian
300d camera
360 secs x 6 @ iso 800 ... flats and darks

Gum 25 or RCW 40. There isn't much info out there that I can find on it. Some places list it as Gum 35.

edit: The only place I can find giving Gum 35 rather than 25 is Cartes du Ciel. Odd, could be a bad listing. 2MASS calls it Gum 25, so I'll go with that.

Thanks for having a look everybody,.... jjj be nice if i could call it my nebula however citivolus has nailed it, RCW 40 and Gum 25 were the only designations i could find, i didnt list it as it is somewhat obscure so i went for co-ordinates so those who want to take a pic could find it.

I have another obscure one to post once ive finished the processing.... might see if someone could guess what it is if i didnt tell them....or would that be too mean?
