transporting the scope

Iīm just wondering if itīs possible to put your scope(reflector)in a wagon/cart and then pull it upon the hill where you is supposed to observe. Because I think itīs too heavy to carry.

Most certainly. I used to move mine around on a "trolley" (see here) and many others do the same thing.

Oh, but if it's an EQ mount, then there is a thing called a "scope buggy" or "wheely bars". There's a review of one of them here. I don't know how that would go over uneven ground though - i'd be concerned.

For my EQ mount, I simply take the OTA off and move the EQ mount out, then put the OTA on, then the counterweights. It's too heavy and risky to move it all as one piece.

I always envisaged strapping a scope to a hand operated electric golf cart/buggy somehow...if you have one....

Just a thought!

Cheers!
