That is very very nice, Eric.

The detail is well captured!
As said above by Ric, the filaments are great.

Is it a New Years Eve Firework?

like this one eric...... you should be honoured my wife liked it too.

going to have to slow you down a bit ... how about a mosaic of the rosette neb with the 10 inch ,idont think youll squeeze it in 2 shots (hehe).

of course you could always try ngc 2174 that would frame nicely and about the same level as the crab so i know you can get it and similar brightness to the emmission around horsehead.

Just caught up with this one and it's a real gem Eric.

Just love the colour and the detail is excellent. Boy oh boy you're really pumping the images out at a fast pace. Can't keep up

Love it !

Great image Eric ! Your guiding is always spot on .... do you use your EQ6's polar scope to align or do you drift ? You must have a good routine going as I know you don't have a permanent setup do you or do you ?

From where I image M1 is over in the bright city light zone !!!!

Thanks Scott. Yes, any longer than 7 minutes from test i have done will degrade the image rather than capturing more photons due to my light polluted area.

Thanks Steve. Yes thats correct. I dont have an observatory. What i normally do with the EQ6 is take the thing out, plonk on the markings and thats pretty much it. My polar alignment i can tell you is wayy off. i don't use drift align i normally look into the polar scope. The main reason why polar alignment doesnt concern me is due to autoguiding. This will eliminate accuracy of the mount. I also don't do PEC training lol. My autoguiding is the main thing. I can do over 10 minutes subs but due to my light polluted area, as i said to Scott, anything over 7 minutes will degrade my image.
