Smile Yellowstone : " Death Snow "

Hi Guys,

This is my last picture digitalized from my best slides taken in the West on June.

A difficult image to process with the different contrasts. Not very easy !!!! http://forum.ourdarkskies.com/style_...ault/wacko.gif

Mammoth Hot Spring is a remarkable place in Yellowstone. The Sigma 17mm lens at f/5.6 has given a deep view with the clouds over this white field.

The link for a larger image : http://www.poigetdigitalpics.com/yellowstone23.html

I used my Nikon F4 camera with Fuji Provia 100 ISO slide film.

Enjoy !!

Another beautiful image, Florent. Thanks for posting.

A stark, but beautiful place.

Thank you very much guys.

This place is incredible. To take pictures over there is a real pleasure. West is also a dream to me.

Thanks once again.

Warmest Regards,

Florent
