Morning delights

Having finished with the ISS, I turned my attention to the other delights in the sky.

The humble point&shoot captured Venus, Mars, Orion (all three low down), then Crux with the Pointers, and Crux sitting above my weather vane.

I can see Omega Centauri and Eta Carina nebula in the widefield Crux/Pointers shot. I can almost resolve stars (?) in the Jewel Box in the Crux shot.

All 10 sec exposure, ISO 200, first thee at f5.6, Crux at f2.8, some with mechanical zoom.

Good fun! and a lovely warm morning outside (except for mossies!)

Eric

I love morning observing, it's so peaceful and quiet.. but very wet with dew most times!
Thanks for sharing what I missed.
