Presents under the tree

I've always believed that my wife is 'reasonably' supportive of my hobby. God knows I would be of hers, if I knew what it was.

Well anyway, here are a couple of books which I received today.
The titles speak for themselves & obviously depict my wife's feelings towards me.

Oh, & there's a pretty good pic of Mike. (in the astronomy book)

Cheers everyone & have a great day.

Bryan

Santa was very good to me this year.

A new Saxon camera/bino tripod, Astronomik Planet IR Pro 807 filter, and some very nice reading material.

Very happy

Music CDs
-Bruce Springsteen's new one
- Eagles new one
- Gordon Lightfoot (from my Mother-in-Law)

And the last Patrick O'Brien book I need to complete the Capt. Jack Aubrey series!

unfortunately, nothing astronomical for me...just as well, I don't really want my wife to understand how much stuff really costs!

Hope everyone had a great day!

Great looking presents everyone, my present is above me. So far there is clear sky all the way across to WA and no jet stream any where near me.

could be a big night tonight.

Cheers

DSI II from my wife and a new laptop from me! My wife's daughter's first comment upon seeing the new laptop was "can I use it?" (That from a person whose last computer took more than 30 minutes to boot to the desktop as it took so long to get all the viruses started up).

As for clear skies etc? At the moment I think I have a heel spur which had me almost crippled by the end of Christmas Day...have to wait a couple of days to see a doctor/physio Never had one before, but have heard of people who have...not happy Jan!

Got a 90 degree diagonal, a focuser for my home-made refractor and a laser colimator (boy was my 12" off by a long way). Can't wait for those clouds to finally disappear.

I got an aluminium EP case

My favourite chocolate (Turkish Delight)

AND . . . my old car printed on a T-Shirt from USA!!!!!!!!!!

I sent the story of my old Chev that got chopped up in Mad Max to 'Chevy59.com' and he posted it on the site. He also informed me that he has a T Shirt that has my car on it (my actual car from pictures from Mad max).

My sneaky missus Cheryl got one for me How cool is that!!!!

To see the shirt, go here and scroll to the bottom. That's my old car in the TV.

Hi guys,

My wife got me one of those adjustable height observing chairs from Bintel, after she heard my dissappointment at not winning the one the ASNSW had as a raffle prize at their Xmas party.

It's not the first time she's bought me something astronomical - the training has paid off

Glenn
