Earthquake 50 kilometres from the city of Gisborne (NZ)

Hi Guys

Just heard on the morning news that a massive 6.8 earthquake has struck New Zealand’s North Island, knocking down buildings, ripping holes in streets and causing widespread power outages.

I hope our Kiwi friends are okay and our thoughts are with those affected.

Cheers

Dennis

I heard that too, and immediately thought of John Drummond and our other NZ friends.

Hope everyone is ok!

I saw that on the late news last night, 6.8 is a decent rumbler and NZ is still a very active area.

Hope our members over there are all well.

Cheers

Perhaps rubbing in the cricket loss?

Just checked the latest reports - minor injuries only, thankfully. Significant property damage however

Gez that'd really put your polar alignment out wouldn't it, your pier could even end up on a wacky angle!
