Hi Barb
I guess I can respond in one of at least 3 ways that I can think of, right now, as I write this: - The process works; it is effective.
- The process does not work; it cannot bring about the changes and benefits people testify to.
- I do not know one way or the other, so cannot really say yay or nay.
If it does work, believing that “no, it does not” seems irrelevant; it will not make the process false.
If it does not work, believing that “yes it does” seems equally irrelevant; it will not make the falsehood true.
So, I’ll probably settle on Number 3 as I am not qualified to state either 1 or 2 with any certainty, as I haven’t been there, investigated the phenomenon, met the participants, reviewed the data, etc. so a yes or no would be just my opinion based on personal feelings and beliefs and not worth the paper it were written on.
Thanks for the link though, it was certainly an interesting segment.
Cheers
Dennis

Hi All,
Actually, thinking about this if the moonlight is sooooo good, why not stand closer to the reflectors than 100ft?
Why not a much smaller (cheaper) array of mirrors and stand only 20 ft away?
Only in America ...

Certain moulds are toxic. Other moulds can be beneficial.
The Moon therefore is full of good mould - like a decent round of Danish Blue.

Obviously the only transformations going on here are in the minds of the believers, but feeling better is a good thing, even if they are fooling themselves into feeling better. It would be cheaper simply to stand in the backyard and gaze in awe at the moon. It's a little troubling that Australians are flying over to get the treatment - we're not supposed to be as crazy as the yanks.

So when my eyesight gets a bit poorer with age I should go out and view the moon with my scope all night to fix it?!

It also contributes to another known illness Luna Madness, where it's cloudy
every day of the Luna cycle except on fullmoon.
I suffer from it quite a bit lately

There seem to be so many ways of “feeling better” and conversely, “feeling worse”.
Who has not imagined a “yet-to-happen” event which induced real feelings of anxiety and discomfort, yet when the event actually occurred, it proved better than expected so you experienced relief instead?
Also, note the difference if feelings and body sensations when standing in the peace and tranquillity of a rain forest compared to being in the middle of the frantic rush hour in a busy city.
Then there are the feelings of well-being when sitting quietly on a beach, breathing the fresh sea air. And a big one for all of us – going on holidays; it makes us feel good and relaxes us.
So there we have it; quite distinct and real physical, emotional and mental reactions to different environments and even “imaginary” mental pictures. Maybe this is what the people are experiencing?
Cheers
Dennis
