Details
Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L at f/2.8, Hutech LPS filter, all at an ISO of 500.
exposures 7x(30s, 1, 2 min), 12x4 min, 10x8M.
Converted to tiff from raw with IP, stacked aligned with RegiStar, LDR produced with EasyHDR.

It may look flat but check out the detail at full resolution.

It was very difficult even with HDR to get all objects to show full detail or dynamic range because 47 Tuc is so bright.
I think I have just about got this method working very well. More practice is needed.

Yes youve got the dynamic range there, 47 tuc is not burnt out in the centre. There must be many stops of dynamic range in the image.

Nice composition with the various details in this image Bert. Looks a little mono toned, lacking saturation, but overall a pleasing result. Well done.

I have had a long think about your comment Jase as I respect your judgment. I have done some HDR's of normal images ie the one below and everybody says it looks flat. Of course it does we have compressed the dynamic range! The other image is a normal one.
