This was fitted to a telescope I purchased. As I am a visual user only, I have no use for this item. Comes with original documentation. The software is available for download at http://homedome.com/downloads. (I have this software on disc also)

What scope was this mounted on originally? An SCT or Refractor? Which adapters does it come with?

Hi,

The unit was mounted to an Astro-Physics 180EDT refractor. The control box has been attached to the mounting bracket, but can be readily detached. The brackets for mounting these things are simply, folded sheet metal. Making a bracket to mount to any telescope should be pretty easy. The brass coupling supplied with this unit is drilled with a 1/4" bore, this coupling can also be readily made. Or yes, you can buy couplings and brackets prefolded and drilled to suit the application.
