I just returned home from an enjoyable evening at the BINTEL shop in Glebe which hosted a book signing for Fred Watson and his new book "Why is Uranus upside down?" a collection of questions he has fielded from his radio show.
It was great to meet Mr. Watson and hear him speak a bit about the book and answer a few questions from the assembled group.
The hosts from BINTEL had a nice assortment of "munchies" which I appreciated as well as the spirited discussions that took place afterword with some of the "International" guests...
...(and no, I am not originally from either Canada or South Carolina but I would not be surprised if they did ban the book (in SC) because of the title
)
All in all it was well worth the price of admission and I picked up a personalized signed book, which I am sure will be entertaining, as an early Birthday present to myself to boot.
