Where to buy flat mirrors

Hi everyone,
I am in the process of building a folded refractor but I can't seem to find
a supplier of flat mirrors. I tried using normal mirrors (what a noob) and
that turned out to be a disaster.
Does anyone know of a supplier in Oz (for a reasonable price)?
Thanks,
Denis.

You don't say what size mirrors your looking for but try SurplusShed.com, they are in USA but have all sorts of lenses and mirrors at pretty reasonable prices, postage can be a bit steep for large items though.

Cheers

Thanks Bill,
I forgot to post the mirror sizes .
I'm looking for about 6" mirrors.
I'll check out Surplusshed though.

Surplus Shed - 150mm flat mirrors - not cheap though at US$250 or so:

It's harder to make a flat than a curve.

Photocopiers used to have good sized flats - I've seen some of them used for binocular jobs (the ones where the flat mirror looks at the sky but the binos point down at the mirror) but I was told that modern day photocopiers have got more efficient and the mirrors have got smaller, if they are still there at all.

I didn't check before posting Chris, no not cheap at that price but depends what a comparable Aus made mirror would cost.

I have a few of the photocopier ones here, nothing as big as 150mm diam, around 50 x 150 for the older ones and the newer machines have 15 - 20mm x 150 so definitely shrinking in size.
