That's a great site, thanks for the link Mark. I'll definitely use it for the next moon observing session.. hoping to get out for a view/imaging session tonight if the clouds and fog disappear for a while.. it's supposed to be raining tomorrow and all weekend :/

The moon is a great place to start observing..


I took this 1 year ago with a 2 1/2 " refractor from BIG W $69.95.

Its not a great shot but it was enough to start the astro bug....

Luckily it sparked my interest and Ive upgraded to an 8" dob...

2.-you look all in south emisphere

here in north when the moon is at his first day it form a D an a C when he is at is last day

that is the contrary in south I thing

this look bizard to me ( backwards )
I do not alway untherstand english

ok fot the moon we made a demontration of the moon at last quarter for north and for south also for equator

but we do not see whitch crater is visible
I try to collec photo of last days or first days from all lattitude from wold and it look nobody interesing
for the momen I have some contact in south but the wheather is no good

have you such photo
if so put the lattitude on and your name
