DMK/C9.25 Mars - Nov 18

Managed to capture a few AVIs tonight, which was good after some hassles with firewire cables and the laptop earlier in the day.

Glad to see it appears the probs are sorted

These were taken around 1.30am...Bris time. (Non-daylight saving).

It's going to be fun if we get some better seeing conditions during the week.

Included is the original and a 75 percent resize, which looks a little sharper.

Hi Matt

Good to see someone trying to do some imaging, chasing the sucker holes! I poked my head outside last night a couple of times and it didn't look at all promising.

That’s a large disc you managed to grab there – well done! Was that with the x3 Barlow?

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Dennis.

'Trying' to do some imaging, is the correct description

As you say, the weather wasn't really up to it but hey...I was up...and Mars was there, shining dimly through lots of thin cloud

I went straight for the big guns. The 4x Powermate.

Clearly, the conditions weren't up to it but I wanted to try for a little image scale to see how it would hold up. Not very well, unfortunately.

Cheers.

Matt nice images. The detail you got for the condiditons are really good. Your system seems to be giving you great results. Like to see your shots when conditions are in your favor.
