Gaseous halo of 17P/Holmes with the 300mmf2.8 flourite lens

Hi
Got up this morning to a partly cloudy sky but clear and dark in the north after rain the previous day then wind to dry things off again. Still only 6 degrees at maximum above horizon.

Set up on front lawn, was not able to polar align by sighting Octans as cloud was over that area. Drift aligned to get close enough.

9x2 mins ISO 200 uv/ir filter in back of lens. Canon 300mm f2.8 Flourite lens from Bert. Hutech modded 350D.

Can see the greenish halo around the bright yellow dusty coma. It was a splendid sight in binocs too, and naked eye a fuzzy star, now quite large.
Hand guided. Sky quite dark.
Powerlines appear in the shot, I was shooting through a spiderweb of them down the street.
Image is technically upside down, as sunward direction in this image is upper right not lower right.
