Unsuspected guest

It is always worth to re-visit older images...
Only after week or so that I took the image of M8 (on Oct 20th), I became aware that Vesta was close... and bingo! I found her with the help of CdC, no probs..
Then I remembered that I took the image of same area days earlier, on Oct 14th.....
The result of playing with them is this little animation....

Nice work Bojan. I really enjoy these solar system animations, as they reveal the dynamics of our system in a way which is not normally obvious.

Cheers

I agree, a great display. We all know that they move, but it is hard to make the connection, hard that is until you see it like this. Well done.

Thank you all for your kind comments :-)
I am always wandering what else might be lurking in my other photos.. Hence the importance to use the same conditions and instruments again and again and compare, compare... It may be well worth the effort one day :-)
