M42 from Adelaide last week

This was taken with lots of light pollution, Canon Eos400D and Tak TOA130. Combo of 3min and 30sec images and worked on with Images Plus and Photoshop to intigrate the short and long exposures.

Beautiful shot Peter, The core is nicely resolved. One of you best mate, and one of the better ones I have seen for some time, top stuff.

Nice image Peter, you've handled the multi exposures very well.

I'd prefer to see a more horizontal composition with the running man, it might fit both nebulas in a bit better?

Nice capture Peter.
Some more sub exposures would've given you extra dynamic range to play with.
I'd also agree that framing it horizontally would give it a nicer composition although you may not fit it in completely within the frame without a reducer.

Very Nice Peter.
You were one of the lucky ones to get some imaging done down here.
Every time I go out it's cloudy - only a few clear nights in the last 2 weeks in the Hills!!

Framing of an image is a personal preference, it doesn't really matter where the image sits. If your happy with it Pete, it's a winner.
