A small and a blurry Mars

Captured on the 29th September, only just got around to finishing the processing..

Although I don't really think the end result is worth the time invested The seeing has been horrible lately, and with Mars so low (30°) it doesn't help.

The blue NPH is visible and Mare Sirenum is the dark band across the south, but no small scale features are visible because of the terrible seeing and poor resolution. I was hoping for nice seeing because Olympus Mons would've been visible at this CM.

I tried captured Venus the same morning at an even lower altitude, but that one I did throw away There wasn't a single frame in 2600 that was sharp.

Well worth presenting Mike, still some nice detail there and hopefully the first of many to come.

You've done well for seeing of 2-3/10 Mike, detail and colour already present, we will look forward to some great images in better conditions.

It won't be long Mike, before you're in your element once again.
Mars will be looking betterer and betterer every week now. LOL
