Just a reminder

Hi all
Just saw my first snake this year while observing it was only a python(I think) but nevertheless warm weather is bringing them out.
So be wary and be careful while out observing.

LOL, it's not too safe for them at my place.
I kill the browns and the kids play with the pythons.

I can put up with the Spiders, almost put up with snakes, but it would all be worth it just to have warm weather!!!!

I am fed up with the cold!

Yep my dads little foxy has just had a good dose of antivenin he got bit trying to kill a brown snake on Tuesday, and he lives near Liverpool NSW. Also a big brown snake must of needed some parts for his car so he went to the auto shop in Minto and cleared the shop out pretty quick. We had our first brown this week to a house up the road from us. My dog was killed last year by a brown. I haven't seen a black snake around for a couple of years now. I hate snakes, but my son is reptile mad, and the wife is the spider killer in our house.

yeah our farm dog got bit by a brown yesterday ,we were lucky to find
him in time , and he almost got nailed by another the day before.

If your dog appears a little lame in the back legs and is panting
get it to a vet asap , they also can appear quite normal a short while
after getting bitten makeing you think they are alright.

hope your old mans dog is alright joe ..most young foxys I have come across
will get the snake .
