Sunrise over Mare Serenitatis

This is the first image from my new DMK21 that I'm really pleased with. Taken on 18/9 10.40 UT, FLT 132 refractor + DMK21 + IR cut filter. 300/2000 stacked in Registax with 25 alignment points, mild wavelets and LR deconvolution.

Lovely image Stephen. The DMK is an excellent lunar camera.

Are you planning to get some RGB filters for planetary imaging?

Thanks - yes, I'm going to wait till I get the hang of monochrome imaging with the DMK first but I'm planning to pick up a focus wheel and filters for the Mars opposition later this year.
