Lens Pen

I have a Celestron Lens Pen.

Has a brush at one end, and a small concave pad at the other. The brush is intended to remove easy stuff from lenses, and the pad everything else. Pad is 'refreshed' by rotating its sealing cap.

Could be that the pad is a micro fibre thingy.

Does anyone have any experience with these devices? I am reticent to use it, despite advertising and sales assurances. Damage to an eyepiece is something that I don't need!
