Ariadaeus Rille 18th September

Had a wonderful dig around with Luna tonight. The seeing was average but at lower powers the views were pleasing. Took some afocal shots with an Olympus 3MB mju camera and a 20mm eyepiece.

The images taken with the 3x zoom and the images stacked then spliced in Photoshop to get the whole moon in one piece then the size reduced after some fiddling to get a pleasant image.

The detail of the Ariadaeus Rille is almost 100% scale of the original shot just cropped and stacked in Photoshop.

Overall a fun little exercise
