Moon from the 14 september 2007

took this hand held resting up on to the fence. It was the crescent moon and well, I have to look up the star it was near at the time. looked a picture in the sky at the time. F6.3 200mm 2.5 seconds ISO 400 canon 400D wit ha sigms 18-125mm lens.

bit slow in posting this too, have been a wee bit pre occupied of late

Earthshine = good, very good !

Notice there's a faint reflection of the crescent in each shot too.

yeah , lenses do that when its a very bright object and a tad over exposed

You do good earthshine Dave!

I looked at this earlier today at work, but couldn't make out any earthshine, so I thought I'd have another look tonight on a proper monitor!
