Alpha Centauri in the daytime

Heres a pic of Alpha centauri in daytime taken at 4:07 pm
Stack of 4 ISO 100 images. Pointing by Argo Navis, was bright enough to see in the camera viewfinder.
Also saw Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Antares and Spica earlier in the day
I used Spica to do some drift alingnment to tweak the polar alingment

Hey Scott that is unreal, I never sort of think of the stars much in the daytime, well done.

Well there you go, ive also found bright stars allow daytime polar alignment and PEC training, very usefull.

I saw Jupiter at dawn (just before sunrise) once, after leaving my LX out. The image was rock steady and the detail the best I have seen.

Thanks all
Yeas the seeing isnt much to write home about, hopefully the seeing will settle down after the footy tonight, in which case I will try catching some more photons for the camera
