Jupiter single shot LPI

this is a single shot of Jupiter 11/06 with LPI no processing through 10" newt.

thanks toetoe, l like the aspect of astrophotography but my real love is the visual aspect therefore l prefer to leave the images as close as possible to the original view through the scope although l am sure the idea of processing will come eventually.

I agree with you on that one mick, it is good to see both sides of an image, like yours above and then the finished job after processing. It`s great to see the finished product so one can get the detail and i praise everyone of you who spend time on your images and post them here for all to see.

Hi Mick

Nice image of Jupiter, and yes - you are wise not to get involved in "all that image processing stuff" - it is outright evil! After packing in at 2:00am you just decide to have a go at processing (only) one image, just to "see how it looks" and be in bed for 2:30am. Suddenly it's 7:00am and your mate's outside the door waiting to pick you up for the drive to work.

Yawn.....zzzzzzzzz.....
