burning images to cd

only have a cd at the moment so hence ( cd only answers ) if a folder of raw images is larger than the data storage on a cd is it possible to shrink or compress the images without loosing data to get them all on a disc
i ask this now as i am going to be keeping all my raw files on c.d's for future processing and to see the advance in imaging

You could use winzip or winrar to compress the images and you wont loose any data.

Try with Winzip.. or Winrar, this is compressing some files even better, without loosing information.
