Nice image Andrew, you're all set by the look of it. The 2xbarlow/ focal reducer has me puzzled though.

nice andrew very nice. I tried the meade 10" Lx200R for the very first time tonight wit ha celestron focal reducer and the Pentak K10D - clearly no where near as sharp as yours but I didnt play withthe focus too much , I was more looking at the object size in the field of view of the Camera. Looking forward to some very nice results from you SIR!!

Had me puzzled too Phil, but to get the image the full frame I found this to be the best setup. With the 2x barlow it was a bit big so I added the reducer and it was perfect..

Goos stuff David, you have a couple of nights to get it right

I won't be at home taking images of the eclipse. I'll be at the Snake Valley Community Hall showing the locals the eclipse, explaining it, and letting them look thru the scope.

So I will be looking forward to everyones pics of the event. By the look of all the test shots so far, all the pics should be stunners

Our weather isn't looking promising though.

Here is our local forecast:
Monday
Fine. A warm and mainly sunny day with strengthening north to northwest wind.
Tuesday
Strong to gale force northwest wind shifting west to southwest early and moderating. Cool to mild with isolated showers contracting south.
