Ok, I don't care if you are a conspiracy theorist or not...this is pretty...akward.

Now, take a peek in the middle. There is something in the middle. The crater goes inwards. There is something in the middle that raises up that grazes the light. take a look at the shadow also.

Now if something had hit there, and made a crater, I don't think anything would be standing there, naturally made.

It also looks too big to fit in the space shuttles and I didn't see any apollo missions that landed on Copernicus.

Does anybody have any better pictures?

That's just the multiple central peaks that occurs in the middle of the larger impact craters. I think the amount of sharpening and the angle of the light when the image was captured just makes it look potentially man-made.

Do a search for Copernicus in IIS, or browse the solar system forum - there will be plenty of Copernicus images in different light.

Well it's not my image for one so I can't take credit

Second, I've seen the pictures from one of the moon rovers. The rocks & peaks there are definitely not large enough to create that big of a shadow.

Ingo come on.. there were no moon rovers near Copernicus. As Al said, it's central peaks casting a large shadow due to the low sun angle.

Search the solar system forum for my images of Copernicus - that feature is in EVERY image of Copernicus.

Thanks for showing more pictures. I'm a big conspiracy theorist as you can probably tell. Now I see it. It does look like something manmade if you just look at the one picture.
