Deep Sky Snaps from Duckadang

I was trying out the Losmandy mount, new guidescope (90mm MAK) and 10"SCT for the first time as an imaging system with the 350D. Got so excited that I forgot to take darks etc but I was pleased with the goto after Phil (acropolite) saved my bacon by making a new cable for me on Friday night. Many, many thanks Phil for your intervention. Saved my sanity and the mount from getting hit with a big axe or an exorcism after the dec runaways at 1200x siderial. Frightening to see.
Anyway had a great time and here are some roughly processed snaps guided with tvguider. The shot of NGC6744 was quite deep at a total of 40 min at ISO800 to drag it out of the murk.

Hi Allan, you have captured some very nice images. I especially like your Lagoon image, the colours are very natural in that one.

Cheers

When I get some time I'll pull out some darks from previous sessions and see what I can do. Thanks for the kind words guys - I think I'm going to pull out the ST7 and take some luminance shots to put together with the DSLR colour
