Nice clear shot 5ash. A real ripper That LPI is showing great promise. Your object definitions is great. Often it's a challenge to pick a moon on the disk or limb, but yours is really clear as is the shadow. Very clearly defined. Excellent catch.

good picture

yes great show wasn't it. the GRS stood out very clearly. i was giving a little guide to the night sky with some students from Merewether high school for their astronomy night. All the kids saw the red spot tranisit and saw the shadow. Great night, the conditions were quite calm, althought the light pollution around the high school was a little too much.

Thats a real neat little pic Philip. Like it a lot...Just goes to show that the LPI is a cool little imager.
I'd be imaging madly but my laptop spat the dummy.I re-loaded autostar for one reason or another & when i go to open up the LPI window I get a super annoying little box saying something along the lines of LPI.EXE not found.I've re-installed the program 5 times & get the same message.
Any hints.......?
