This telescope has been modified to allow a camera to come to focus by shortening the tube by 50mm. Suitable for happy snaps of the moon. May be used on Planets or DSO's if fitted on equatorial platform. It also comes with a 50mm EP extension to allow EP's to focus. This mod has not detracted from the telescopes operation at all.
Counterbalance has been stabilised with the use of a shot bag attached to the bottom of the tube. This allows variable balance for any EP or camera.
The rotating base has been fitted with a 12" rotary bearing to allow smooth and stable rotary movement. The optical tube is stored in a custom made and padded plywood case suitable for storage or transport.
THIS IS A BIG TELESCOPE.
