I have just received my copy of the Sky and Telescope's Pocket Sky Atlas. Having already got 3 atlases, my first impressions are that this one is a real little ripper

It has very clear charts that seem to have just the right amount of info, and a good colour too. Very easy to turn to a page that is marked as - say good for July evenings - and there are galaxies in red, nebulae in green, and clusters in yellow

I like the index, which is broken into stars, clusters, galaxies etc. Then there is all the Messiers and theCaldwell catalogue.
What do you people think of it?? Jolly good value for $39 I reckon
