Nice work, Ian. Your Jupiters are getting better with each capture. Can you give us the details?

Hi I took about 800 frames with space of 400mb. Ran it through registax and tweaked it and then ran it through again. Then into paint to sharpen and soften a bit.

I am happy with it but still a lot of fine tuning my side to do. I have only had the a eq6 mount now for about 3 weeks and still learning that and registax. Once i get a good bit of time i will redo every thing from collomating the scope to doing the AVI's again. I did use a orion barlow lens as well.

That's excellent ian! The image scale is larger, the detail is smoother and the colour is still good!

As Graeme said, your captures are getting better each time. Seeing is king!

Well done.

I suspect your Mewlon will give you better ultimately. You could try recording a longer run and then be more selective with frames. Maybe 120 secs at 10fps and then select the best 350 - 400 to stack.
