Not up to the standard of some we've seen here recently, but I was pleased to capture this on an unexpectedly clear night - the Bureau predicted partly cloudy and a few showers. Ended up with not bad seeing, although my corrector plate was beginning to dew up.
11" Celestron Nexstar, 2.5" Powermate, Phillips SPC900nc, about 400 out of 1300 frames @10fps.
It compares favourably with my first recent observation for this year
of Jupiter. The GRS is sitting out by itselff this year and not nestled in
the'the SEB. I wonder if this is the product of GRSjr close encounter.
