More Venus

Took this evening while checking the results of my collimation attempts, which cant be too bad as I could clearly see the cassini division on Saturn(13mm plus 2X barlow) even with the low altitude and a little jet stream.

Venus is a real picture at the moment (ha ha) and my hand helds dont do it any justice but here it is. I just love watching the progression of its phases.

Camera is, as usual, an Olympus 410 digital compact, afocal.

Nice result Wade. There is some colour shifting present, you can see the blue underneath and the red top right. If you used Photoshop or Registax, you could align the colour channels and it would appear even better.

Can you change the exposure time also? Maybe try a bit less exposure.
