First planetary image - Jupiter

I've used my webcam on the Moon but despite the mediocre seeing (Jupiter was literally bubbling in the CCD image box) I saw that the shadow of Io was on the disk and it seemed an auspicious time to have a go at Jupiter.

I ran it through Registax than used GIMP to play with the result a bit. I'm reasonably pleased with it, I can see how important good seeing is to get good images - maybe I should have used a 3x barlow instead.

A very nice first attempt, top stuff. The shadow of Io looks great.

Cheers
