Clavius + Moretus - 20/05/2005

Hi all.

Here's a 2-frame mosaic of Clavius + Moretus (to the upper left of Clavius), taken on the 20th of May on a night of very good seeing.

Details:
- 10" dob (no tracking) + ToUcam Pro 840k
- Capture settings: 5fps, 1/100s exp., no gain, 0 gamma
- Seeing: 7/10, Transparency: 8.5/10
- FL approx 3100mm, with 2.4x barlow pulled out and ToUcam pulled out.

Processing:
- Hand selected the best frames to stack, no more than 20 of each image.
- Stacked and minor wavelets processed in registax, then 2 frame mosaic created in autostitch, then finally processed (levels/sharpen) in Photoshop.

Great image Mike - excellent detail. Might have to look at stacking a few of my moon images
