A trip back in time

Thought this might be of interest. It's about the plan to digitise nearly 100 years worth of astronomy photographs currently at Harvard.

Very interesting reading. Hope they can go ahead and do it. Just imagine being able to see all those photograghs. Thanks for the link.

I hope they get this done before it's all lost. As the article says, they have 500,000 plates 'plus or minus 100,000' with no idea where the missing plates are.
