I have an epic blast from the past.
A 1980's Bausch and Lomb Criterion 6000 SCT
Diameter: 6"
Focal Length: 1500mm
Details:
6" SCT, fork mounted on RA drive and wedge.
Original Eyepieces: 18mm and 30mm A.S.P
1.25" diagonal which is damaged (cracked plastic housing)
Original Box
Notes:
Original Box - Stored in shed, has rust but latches and lock functions fine. Foam has definitely seen better days and is disintegrating. Missing handle retainers but original leather handle is present.
Mount - In good condition and motor works well.
Scope - In good condition, there is some mirror flop when focussing. Some internal dust or foam on mirrors (more secondary than primary) - I believe some of the disintegrating foam has made its way in at some stage. Mirror coatings look good. A clean of the mirrors/internal tube would see it in excellent condition.
More than happy to provide additional photos and discuss should anyone be interested.
I dare say these are pretty rare these days.
