On offer is a Celestron CGE GOTO Mount in excellent condition.
The Celestron CGE mount was a highly regarded mount as it was based on the Losmandy G11 and made by Losmandy for Celestron.
The mount will be supplied with a counterweight, hand controller, user manual, new heavy duty shielded RA & DEC cables along with original working cables as spares. The mount is in good working order. The mount will easily carry a C11 or similar.
(Will include the compatible #93967 CN-16 GPS accessory unit.
Note: The CN-16 GPS unit powers up and can be selected via hand controller, however, please assume supplied untested and as is).
I bought this in 2017 as a package with an OTA and other equipment.
The mount was housed in an observatory and appears to have had little use.
It has been in storage since I acquired it in 2017 as I have other more portable mounts.
Set up and transportation of the CGE is made easy by separating the mount into smaller, easy-to-carry components, however when setup it is very heavy, rock steady and not portable.
Due to its size and weight, this is pickup only.
Happy to setup and power on if you wish to see operating in person.
