Toward the galactic centre 15/5

This is the same setup as the Scorpio image but a stack of 6x2 minute exposures. The shot contains Corona Australis and a good piece of Sagittarius. There are a few Messier objects in view (I am a total newbie at this but I think I have M7 and M8, M22 and M28, perhaps more) again the compression is not helping but I am please with the image.

Don't you just hate people who have a knack of getting great shots. Well done, excellent image.

Another fantastic shot, well done John! You could make a great mosaic of the milky way with shots like that.

I love widefield shots of the center of our galaxy. Will have to try someday with my SLR mounted on my EQ although I don't it will ever look as good as yours
