Link: Atlas of the Univers.

This is realy cool. Found it on cloudy nights. Shows the names of stars, position of objects relative to others, all in a kind of 3D way. Progessively move away from our sun in steps/units of lightyears, look at other maps with nebula, specific galaxy clusters etc.

Very cool.

You would like SNP Plus 6 you can fly around up to 760 million lyrs from Earth.
I love flying through the Virgo cluster. Just click on a GX and go there in 3D

Starry Night Pro Plus 6. It is a planetarium software package IMO one
of the best.

ok, starry night.
I never used it, but i know it by words.

i have just ... "found" on the web a copy of The Sky, and i am learning to use it.

The are very different ? The Sky is user friendly, that is good for me .

Giorgio,

I used to use The Sky, like SN much better besides the fact it has allot of lovely
eye candy it has some really neat features too, to many to list. I like the latest
update to the surface maps of solar systems bodies.
