Trifid - M20

Well this is my longest capture to date, 5.5hours of data on M20. Processed with PixInSight. I'm having problems with meridian flips atm so data is from two nights on the East side. Just add it to the list of small dilemmas I'm slowing getting through, still have some tilt to address also ect.
But to be honest this is probably my best work to date, so I hope you like the view.
The skies here have been pretty smokey and cloudy at times. With HFR floating around 3.1 to 3.6 I currently cant get it better than that.

Orion Optics UK AG10 + AG X0.95 Wynne corrector

B 25x180s
G 25x180s

Thanks for looking and clear skies to all

Really nice capture Daniel, nice colours and tight stars. We may have been shooting M20 on the same night and for almost the same integration time
Hopefully you'll be able to sort out your meridian flip issue

I said to myself what are the chances, I wasn't going to throw this one up, but its some of my better work. Too funny Jas.
Thank you.

Yeah I'm sure its just a conflict of setting with GSS, Nina and possibly PHD2 but all part of the journey.

....hey what are you capturing next?

That is really noice Daniel, best to date hey, happy nights.

The neb is very bright, a tad soft, maybe could look into doing a Star-Mask, adjust the levels and some contrast on the dust would definitely be affordable for some experimentation,, just a suggestive idea with all due respect, eh..

Love the Focal Length for this, truly does justice for Triffids 'Lane-Details'
Great work

Thanks for the feedback Bob, appreciate it. I always try to keep more of a softer/light processing approach, I feel if I push it anymore I lose dynamic range on the data. Ill see what revision I can come up with, I feel another 5 hours of captures would of helped the detail come through more. Might even be at a point where an upgraded cmos camera could help this setup
