Photos from Astro Imaging Meeting

Hi Guys - Here are some pictures from the most recent Astro Imaging group meeting in Sydney from the 20th of June.

This group is part of the ASNSW but visitors are welcome. The next meeting will be in August. I'll announce the dates and details in August but you can go to asnsw.com for more info now. We took some pictures from the site at Epping with my Tak and Mike Samerski's DSLR of Eta Carinae.

All of us got the images and processed them with our laptops. The result, in this case from Mike is shown as well. Not bad for a rough and ready night's imaging.

Hey Monte

Thanks for the info and photos – it looked like quite an event. I must say, when I opened the 1st photo, all I saw, (initially), was a sea of, ahem, shiny domes and I thought – wow, is this what astrophotography does to ones head of hair….

Pardon my rudeness if this offends anyone!

Cheers

Dennis

A good Astroimager carries his dome with him where ever he goes.

It's a pity it's so far away Monte, I reckon I could really benefit from attending meetings like that.

Cheers
