In Melbourne? - Cheap Books

Just went to Book City, Swanston Street in the city. Closing after 17 years, last day next Tue I think I heard. All books 30% off the lowest marked prices. I bought two introductory astronomy books for $12. "Universe" - Couper and Henbest (list price GBP12.99) and "Cosmos" by Gribbin and Goodwin (list price probably $18-19). Yep, they are basically simple books but lots of colour photos, simple explanations and photos of famous astronomers and scientists. I will read and can use them.

They still have several books - some Atlases (eg Patrick Moore's) at sort of $30-60, less 30%.
