RIP Terry Platt of StarlightXpress

For those in the StarlightXpress family, some very sad news.

From Terry's business partner, Michael Hattey, from Facebook:

Announcing the death of Terry Platt.
Following a sudden, and very short illness, I am deeply saddened to announce the death of our co-founder, inspirational friend and colleague, Terry Platt on Tuesday 17th June.
I believe the following PDF sits as a fitting tribute to Terry; someone who I have not only admired and worked with since before we started the company back in 1990, but also had the privilege of his mentoring and friendship throughout all those years.
Starlight Xpress will strive to continue supporting all of our customer, and future customers, in the way Terry has instilled in us all, and in the memory of one of the nicest, kindest and smartest people that I’ve had the privilege of knowing.
Thank you all once again for your continued support.
Warm regards,Michael Hattey, Managing Director, Starlight Xpress Ltd.

Thanks for sharing, Mike. This is very sad news. I had many discussions with Terry many years ago when I had a couple of their early cameras.
