Identification of new lunar features

Hi all,

I have made a serendipitous discovery while imaging the other night.

I present my discovery and novel nomenclature for consideration by the IAU Lunar Nomenclature working group.

The crater, currently designated, Maurolycus, I propose to rename, 'Straya.

Prominent shadow features have escaped previous study but are revealed in the present images clearly and unambiguously. The author proposes the following shadow feature names:

Sinni
Brissi
Darwo
Perf
Dlaide
Melbun

Of interest and as a focus of future studies, the region named herein, "Lack 'O Tassie" presents rich research opportunities, particularly in the Selenographic area where a distinct absence of a map of the region presents difficulties.

I will keep colleagues informed regarding my correspondence with the IAU.

Richard

How creatively imagined and seen - I hope you get the recognition you deserve!

Isn't lack of Tassie the little crater just above nu-Zulend?
That's an interesting shadow!
